Why Travel?

Why travel, why its a great experience to travel.

Why travel? Why not?! Ever since my first travel experience, which was to America, I caught the travel bug, it latched onto me like a leech, and I wasย excited.

Travelling has been my favourite experience in life, don’t get me wrong, you can have your bad parts, for example sharing a room with your family, or if you go on a group tour, sharing one with a stranger who you could fight with (yes I have experienced this), passport stolen (thank God not to me, but I have heard stories of people who have) and anything else. ย But itโ€™s still one of the most amazing experience I have every ventured.

If you have not travelled in your life because you are scared to or no one will go with you, don’t be afraid to do these things. If you are scared, maybe save up and take a trip around your country, start small. Don’t just jump on the plane take a trip to the other side of the world if you are that worried. Take some friends or even go with your family. See what your country has to offer.

Afraid to go alone? It can be daunting, especially if you’re an introvert. I am an introvert myself, but I just pushed myself to come out of my shell, it has done wonders for me socially and mentally. ย I have made new friends who I still keep in touch with, I have been also more social and don’t tend to shy away as much as I use to around new people. I will always be that shy person who doesn’t say much, but I won’t be as terrified to say hello to people.

Not saying you have too if is too much for you, take it in small doses. A good way to travel, especially if you are from the age 18 – 35 is to do a group tour, for example; Contiki, Topdeck, Busabout, etc…*

Unfortunately I am not familiar with any for tours for the ages over 35, but when I find out, I will make a post about it, but for now, this blog may cater to those around my age, which is in the early twenties. But I would love to hear from anyone that has gone on a tour group like Contiki but for those that are the age 35+. But until then, consult with your travel agent, they may have the answer!a

So if you really want to travel, save as much as you can, so you can get as much out of the experience. Even if it has to take a couple of years to get there, it will all be worth it in the end.

Travel forth my friends!
